Whitney played soccer for 12 years, competitively for nine. She accidentally fell into cycling in the fall of 2006 when she came to college with the intentions of doing triathlons.  She has been racing ever since. Highlights in her short career include wins at the GS Tenzing Crit (Cat. 3) and Tulsa Tough, Day 1, as well as a 2nd place at the Hotter N Hell Road Race in 2008.  This year, Whitney finished 4th at Roubaix XI.
