Rachel Byus
Rachel learned how to ride a bike on the BMX track at the age of four. She raced BMX until the age of 11. Rachel grew up being a competitive gymnast and soccer player. While playing soccer at Texas Woman’s University Rachel began riding mountain bikes with her Dad. After about a year of riding mountain bikes she decided she wanted to hang up her cleats and start taking cycling seriously. Rachel did her first road race in August of 2007. She now prefers criterium racing, which lead to a State Championship. Now she is looking forward to improving her endurance abilities to become a more versatile cyclist.
